VETTED CANDIDATES
Please see Hartland Voters vetting process of candidates seeking the vote of our community. An initial questionnaire was mailed/emailed to every candidate running for the following races. Once completed and if there was additional information needed, candidates were then either offered an opportunity for an in person interview or given follow up questions. Please note that several candidates chose not to participate in this vetting process at all and therefore are not listed below. For any incumbents running that decided to engage in this process, their time of service and stance on policies/topics were taken into consideration. Though the Primary Election filing deadline has passed, there is still time for candidates to file for the General Election.
Update: Hartland Voters candidate vetting process is now complete. The Endorsement Committee has voted. Please note, no candidate or candidate’s campaign members are on this Endorsement Committee and therefore has no say in the voting process. Please see HVs 2024 Endorsed Candidates page.

- The role of the government and our God-given rights
- View on the importance of family and the next generation
- If a candidate is an incumbent, how they voted or stances they took on matters during their time of service are considered
